(The Scene opens up backstage at a WWE house show the day before the first Raw of the year for World Wrestling Entertainment. A lot of the talent is backstage some are up and coming superstars and others are already established wrestlers. The camera goes down the hall way to a locker room, and you can hear a familiar voice in the locker room. Going into the room we notice that it's the one and only Three time former World Champion "Edge"! Edge is dress up in his black leather jacket and Edge throwback tee (only available at WWEFShop.com) talking to someone that looks like one of the security guards.)

Edge: Yes I am back. What did think would happen? Did you think that I was gonna stay dead?

Guard: No I just thought you wouldn't have comeback for awhile after how you lost your WWE Championship to AJ Styles.

(The Rated R Superstar looks at him awkwardly.)

Edge: Look AJ Styles is a tool. Plus he didn't do that much to me anyway with his little double team with the so called "Viper".

Guard: So have you given any thought to your match with the Miz? I mean if you win you'll have a pretty nice spot in the Royal Rumble.

Edge: If I win? My friend when I win is the correct. However yes I've already thought in into it and I get the same results.

Guard: Well what is it?

Edge: I shrug cause I don't really care about Miz. He's so far beneath me, I'll just get past him and onto the Rumble now if you'll excuse me.

Guard: Oh by all means go ahead.

(Edge brushes himself off and walks past the guard and exits the room. Edge walks down the hall as some of the camera crew members try to talk to him and shake his hand but Edge ignores them all brushing past all of them completely ignoring them. The former World Champion waits right in front of the curtain that separates the backstage from the entrance ramp.

("You think you know me!" Then his theme song blasts all over the arena as fans erupt to see Edge make his return. Edge comes out full of energy. He he runs to each end of the stage and smiling. The Rated R Superstar walks to the center of the stage pulling down his shades and winks at the camera. Feeling in rare form Edge starts to walk down the ramp stops and poses for his fans and fireworks.)

Edge: Lets kick this off right, lets do it like we did before! Ladies and gentleman boys and girls children of all ages welcome to the...(Edge catches himself as it seems something is out of place.) Welcome Back to the Cutting Edge! It feels really really good to be back. It feels good be back to my show Raw and it feels even better to be home. (The fans cheer.) Its been a while and I know you all have been starving for your cut of edge but well to be honest I really missed giving it to you all.   (The fans start to cheer Edge as he laughs) Man you guys still have my back and that makes me feel better now coming into RAW.  What better way to bring the Rated R era back then kicking it off on Monday Night Raw! The show I made famous. In my time of absence all I could think about is how I could get back? I was even at the point where my doctors said you might not be back for a few more months to a year, unless you find a miracle and you know what I found one. (Edge points to the crowd.) The wearing the WWEF Championship for a record fourth time! I must admit its been a rough road to travel being out on an injury and watching months pass me by. I sat and watched as the company I made big totally dissolve under the control of the that tool bag AJ Styles. I watched friends of mine leave the company. All of these changes made me work even harder when I found out we were coming back on the air. The pain of going to rehab was brutal day in and day out. All the while I had to endure for one day to be able to return to the ring and most of all return to this company and do this thing again and to do something I haven't done and that was to win The Royal Rumble and become champion for the fourth time .(Edge chants start around the arena.) Thank you, tonight is a good it's a awesome night...speaking of awesome or lack there of. The Miz is in the building! 

(Boo's fill the arena, Edge pulls the mic away from his mouth and laughs as Miz sucks chants drown out the Rated R Superstars voice. Edge tells the camera man to point over to one of the kids signs in the stands it says “Spear for Miz." Edge laughs and claps.)

Edge: Now, now, now give The Miz a break, I mean not everyone is born with common sense. Come on for some one who claims to be so in tune with reality he sure has a far fetched concept of it.  Not only that the man is a trooper he took a vicious beating at the hands of Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton, and Brock Lesnar, all of which I beat by the way, and he still gets up claiming he's "Awesome". Pfft, please get a life. I remember Miz from the Real World running around talking like he's the best thing to to join the back street boys... Well maybe he his. Maybe just maybe Miz is the lost Backstreet who who couldn't make it because of his awesomely grotesque over bite. Quit playing Miz and give Mr. Ed his teeth back, you  back. (Edge laughs as does the audience.) Okay, seriously Miz is a man who believes in himself and that's a good. That's awesome pun intended, He believes in his skill so much that he can go toe to toe with The Rated R Superstar, and yet again that's well just awesome.   But what isn't awesome is that fact that he demands anything. He want's me and the others to respect him, he wants me to acknowledge him as a equal or even better to me. Are you serious? in your words Really? Really? Really? Once again Miz you are not not awesome, (Edge waves his finger gesturing no.) Miz or Mike or whatever you wanna be called I am a former King Of The Ring,  how could you ever compare. The Miz claims that he is something that he really isn't he claims he's a future World Champion News flash Miz pretending to be something you aren't isn't awesome.  Ladies and gentlemen I think we all know who is reeking of awesomeness! He is a former Two time WWE Champion, former World Heavyweight Champion, two time Tag Team Champion, and two time Intercontinental champion! Oh yeah and also King of the Ring.

(Edge pauses as the arena quickly fills with Rated R chants. It seems that Edge is getting on a roll now.)

Edge: You know I wont only acknowledge you as a in ring competitor but I will acknowledge you a self absorbed asshole... like myself. You in some ways are like I once was. You've got the mouth and charisma to take you 75 percent to the top. But unlike me you lack the extra 25 to take you up and become champion or even triple crown champion like I am. You call me a "waste of man" because I some how let you down. Well... ok I!? I was a liar running away from returning because of an injury. But yet I'm standing right here. Last person that that I wasn't about my business lost the WWE Championship to me. You under play me like my hay day wasn't last year. Ladies and gentlemen Miz talks as if he's gods gift to wrestling and he's fifty/ fifty with his win/lose record. I have over thirty wins to my record and you have one. Plus I came in this place beating all top tier superstars also retiring them. Hell I retired,  Shane Douglas awhile ago and retired Flair twice, I put Tommy Dreamer out of his misery. The list goes on and on and on! There is not one Mizfit or what ever you call your barnyard full of horse faced fans. Sorry everyone seems to love me. Face it your alone and always will be.

(Edge stops and once again lets the Edgeheads cheer for him.)

Edge: Oh by the way, nice little speech you gave about how your bringing your heart and soul and muscle and whatever you call your pathetic skills. I almost cried *yawn*. The bottom is Miz, I am the 2009 superstar of the year and  2010's. And so on and so forth. Monday is a night of my reinstatement. I will beat you and then got to the Royal Rumble and once again become champion. Tonight I have one word foryou and these people know it very well and soon so will you...Spear, Spear, Spear, Spear!

(Edge continues to chant spear as the fans join in. They get louder and faster with the chantting as Edge stares in to the camera with a grin on his face as his music plays and the crowd continues to chant spear with out him. The scene fades)

END
