(The scene opens up backstage of the WWE Franchise Impact house show! The crowd is filling up they're seats in the Impact zone and getting ready for the the action to start. It's about 8:05 pm on Friday night and with only 24 hours removed from yet another succesful Impact, excitement is eminatting throughout the arena. The cameras in the brightly lit arena segway from the roaring crowds and the filled up rafters to the pitch black curtain the seperates the real world from the WWE Universe. Behind such a curtain is the highly busy lays World Wrestling Entertainments Impact staffers, ranging from the bright young development talent, to the mid carders, and all the way up to the leading Impact stars. Down the hall way is the camera focuses on the Two time World champion Edge hanging on his and Velvet Sky's private locker room door. Edge is wearing a brown button up with a black skull shirt and shade, while Velvet Sky is wearing a female version of the sex and violence tee. (Warning: advertisment alert!) Only availible at wwefranchiseshopzone.net long name awesomes suff! Anyway Edge is having a conversation with Sky.)
Edge: So I wanna say sorry again for going off on you last night. You know I've been so wound up what with all of the mentionings of Cena and getting ready for King of the Ring. I know all you were trying to do was help and you did just that. But you do know I had him where I wanted him right?
Velvet Sky: Sure you had him. Mhm right where you wanted him.
(Velvet Sky winks at The Rated R Superstar as he looks on at her rolling his eyes.)
Edge: I'm not kidding I could've beat him. But nevermind that.
Velvet Sky: Anyway why are we here? This isn't televised it's a house show so why are we wasting our time here?
(Edge takes his wait off of the locker room door and grabs Velvet's gloved right hand and kisses it. Edge also gives her a bright smile, he then readjusts his jacket.)
Edge: You should now out of anyone my dear that when Impact has a house show we have to give those fans out there something to remember. As a matter of fact I'll be facing the rabid wolverine Chris Benoit in six days. So I wanna go and run my mouth a little to my Edgeheads.
Velvet Sky: I still don't see why you're so hung up on pleasing these ugos. They will just spit you out when there done with you. They'll cheer for you and get your hopes up and throw you aside once you do something for yourself. And plus they're not even cute! I mean how could you bare to associate yourself...
(With quick haste The Ultimate Oppertunist uses his oppertunistic skills to quick down a rambaling Velvet Sky before she could say anymore. He walks into the locker room with a angered Velvet Sky and sits her on a sofa then grabs here a bottle of water then hands it to her.)
Edge: Here drink this okay? Relax and ease your mind babe while I go out here and remind these people who I am and why I'm the traqulizer for the Rabies that is Chris Beniot. Let me go out there and do what I do best and I'll come backthen we can get out of here and have a night or nights on the town.
(The Rated R Superstar kisses Velvet Sky and calms her down... for now. Edge walks out the door with a wide grin on his face as he caan hear his Edgeheads louder with every step he takes to the black curtain to the realm of the WWE Franchise Universe. No nervousness can be sensed on the face of The Rated R Superstar, (Well how many times has Edge been nervous since his return last year?) So this is all too familiar for him as he salutes to the sound check guy and signals for him to start his music. It's now about 8:15 right Edge is right on time before the opening bell. His music blasts to the surprise of everyone sitting in the Impact zone. After a few seconds straight out of the mist comes the most decorated superstar on the WWE Franchise roster.)
Justin Roberts: Ladies and gentlemen of the Impact Zone please welcome The Rrrrated Rrrr Superstarrr EDGE!
(The extatic crowd goes wild to see Edge. He walks to one end of the stage and then another pointing at some of the house show audience. There excitment fills the air and Edge waits for a minute for them to quick down. Edge then raises his hand.)
(The arena's noise starts to shift into silence in the Impact zone as Edge starts to speak. Edge puts up his hand down as little by little the fans quite down. Edge then begins to speak to his Edge heads. )
Edge: That's the type of reaction I love. Thats exactly why I'm the Ultimate Oppertunist, and The Rated R Superstar. Not many people can do what I've done in this buisness. I have a resume that is too big to list, I've ended careers and hell I've even started them. Now I know I'm not scheduled to wrestle tonight but I find it Is that okay? (The fans go crazy.) I knew you all would see my point of view. Anyway this is the start of the Rated R Era. Everything that has happened on Impact in the past is just that, it's the past! Most importantly you wont have to deal with listening too any "Oh it's damn true!" for much longer. Soon it will be all over! I am the pinnicale of this very business no matter what brand I'm on and everyone knows it! (He pauses for a second.) Lately I've been the target for words among a certain group by the name of Dynasty (The fans chant Angle sucks repeatedly). Now, now let's be light on him he can't help that he sucks. As you all should know that his words about me doesn't phase me. But what really gets under my skin is him claiming that he's something special. Now I can understand the fact that he's beaten certain wrestlers on the roster but what I don't get is how he think's he's better then the Rated R Superstar he just simply isn't on the game that I am. Now as far as winning he has yet to break my 17 straight win streak might I add the longest in history for any company. He has been very vocal about our eventual match because he's probably trying to look big in front of his new manager Trish Stratus. But I mean come on Kurt you've gone from kissing one ass to kissing two. (Edge stops and thinks about what he just said. Thinking in his he that it would be that bad.) Actually Kurt might just be on to something. There no denying that those are two of the finest asses in the business... (Edge stops and catches himself.) No Edge stop that! Stay on track! Okay back to where I was... Kurt Angle seems to misunderstand me when I say I was the best then and I am the best now! I have won every title that has been put in front of me, Kurt you know what I've done double time! If memory serves me correct this would be your first title since your long illustrious career has started. All that work and nothing to show for it am I right? (The fans agree.) I am six times better then better then you and will always be well soon to be seven times better.
(Edge looks around and then put's up two fingers in the air and shakes his head.)
Edge: Two... yes I said it "the number two". That's the number of the week. Last night marked the second week of a triumphet Thursday night Impact, you know why? Do you know why it was so triumphet? I'll tell you, because of two appearances by the 2009 WWE Franchise Superstar of the year, ME!
(Edge looks down in a focused state and continues to talk to his Edgeheads.)
Edge: I said almost two weeks ago that I was coming here to make an Impact! Two weeks ago I said I was climbing all the way back to the top via King Of The Ring! Two weeks ago I gave everyone in my opinion the match of the year with The Miz. Two weeks ago I made my return to the squared circle to do what I do best! I came down to that very ring and Spear and another Spear! I took two of the so called best that W.W.E. Franchise had to offer and I ate them whole. Why? Because I could, because I am just that awesome. Don't you agree?
(Edge stops for a second and strokes his beard as the fans begin to chant his "Rated R". The Rated R Superstar starts to pace the stage rallying the fans interest in him and his topics of choice.)
(The former two time world champion comes out of his focused state with a look of furry on his face. His eyes beaming into the atmosphere of the WWE Universe.)
Edge: Dynasty! (The fans yet again explode in Kurt sucks chants. As The Rated R Superstar continues his voice is muffled by the even stronger then before boo's.) Me and Dynasty have a little bit of history. We never faced off one on one but the so called leader Kurt was in my group the Cliq (The fans roar again at the mentioning of Edge's former dominate group.) Do you wanna know why that group died? Well because of Kurt Angle's inability to win. Don't feel bad though Kurt your best friend Benoit is right in the same spot as you. Losers like you two don't deserve to be in this business let alone on a damn poster of this company! Well... then again one person is on one poster so I guess that's not too much of a travesty. However I just can't shake the fact that no one has beaten those two or anyone in that group. But that's just another opportunity that I just need to seize. Edgeheads you should have know I'm gonna be coming for Dynasty's record. I always do what I say and do a pretty good job of what I plan. We are going to first start with Benoit then Kurt. Now I have no problem with Stacy or Trish. But the hasn't ever been's hiding in they're shadow I do have a problem with. Kurt your time is coming soon enough I will exile you and your toothless boyfriend Benoit from Impact just like I did everyone else. It's like the people I face do nothing with there career after I'm done with them. Lets see hmmm oh yeah!!! I beat Ken Kennedy after that he fell in to a downward spiral and is now gone. Who else?... Let's see oh yes! The Rock and Undertaker, I beat them and then the next day they quit. Ric Flair's career ended because of my slick planning. That list I gave you was a short list, I could give you more but I just don't have the time. Dynasty look deep inside and realize that I am better now and always will be better, and all of that talking you guys do as sweet and as promising as that all sounds it is well.... just not the truth . You should look at me and notice that I am the down right best thing that this business has to offer and that you would have a better chance on Monday Night Raw the losing brand. Go back and rekindle you guys can mid line Raw again maybe go for the tag titles love with Stacy Keibler. Trust me it would be better for you both and everyone else if you just didn't show up. You two are good but not like me. Sorry to say it but Dynasty you are over and done with on Impact and soon you will both will be struggling get to your feet while all of these Edgeheads are chanting Spear, spear, spear!
(The crowd begins to chant spear over and over as The Rated R Superstar seems to wind down. Edge yet again lets his fans get rallied up and excited. The Impact house show is sounding more and more like a live event. Edge smiles.)
Edge: Now, now, now let settle down I gotta get out the way for tomorrows stars to do what they do best. on to the major story of the night Edge vs Benoit!! This is special this is really big Beniot. The Rated R Superstar and Rabid Wolverine facing off on Thrusday night Impact. I mean we are two of the best wrestlers in the history of this business. I've heard rumors and I heard speculation that you and I on the same show can't and wont work, me I beg to differ... I really do Benoit. I think that you and I can get along no matter how checkered our past is and no matter who's leg you humping. Hell I know we can, between the two of us we both know who is gonna win Thursday so why don't we just already call it Chris. You know I can beat you and Kurt so does the whole locker room, I but that doesn't mean we can't get along. You know it's been awhile since you and I have faced off and let me just give you some reasons why you... just won't win. Number 1" This is my house this isn't your backyard or your front yard. You see last time I checked you Benoit you were over somewhere else licking the ass of Kurt Angle and Stacy Keibler.
(Edge stops and paces the well structured stage again thinking of reason why Benoit won't win against him Thursday. The Rated R Superstar stops and puts up two fingers again with a smirk on his face to the enjoyment of his fans.)
Edge: Number 2 "My track record" I've done to much! I beaten too many people to be toppeled by you. I am a Triple Crown Champion two times over! No one and I do mean no one has ever done that! I hold to many recordsto even be compared wih you. I've beaten people way better then you. Which brings me to reason number three.
Edge: Number 3 "Retirement!!" you've witnessed Ric Flairs retirement, Tommy Dreamers farewell, and Chris Jericho's coward move running away off the face of the planet because he was scared to face me at Wrestlemania, Scott Hall's disappearing act after losing the WWE Undisputed Championship, and Randy Orton's rib being broken. What do all of these former WWE superstars have in common? All of there last matches were with me! Benoit please don't make the mistakes that everyone else made. Stay out my way so I can win this match and so you don't become a Rated R statistic. You see ladies and gentlemen of the Impact Zone, your King Edge "The Awesome" has got a feeling it's the same feeling that I had back at Starrcade when I beat the then undefeated Scott Hall and I left him shocked. It's a feeling of enlightenment, a feeling of extreme pleasure, and baby I feel invincible. I haven't been to the mountain top in quite some time but everyone has there time and this is mine. My time has come via the first defeat of Dynasty!! Benoit knows damn well what I can do and his butt buddy "You suck" Kurt Angle knows damn well that he doesn't have a chance of beating me. I won't lose in my state of invinciblity!!! I wont lose when I am so close to the becoming WWE Undisputed Champion! Benoit, Kurt, or any Dynasty memeber take thinker for a second. Think about wht you have done and compare it to what I've done. Then after all that thinking I strongly urge you to think that I will give another bragging right... What's that you say? What could be another possible achievement Dynasty can get from just facing little old Edge? Well you could get yuor very first spear! You can brag that The Rated R Superstar Edge has done somthing no one else has done and that is beat Dynasty. You and I Benoit can be on the same page if you drop out this match, but something is telling me that you wont soooo I will do what I have to do. Ladies and gentlemen say goodbye to the first Dynasty Member Chris Benoit. He had a great run he came close to actually making a name for himself.... close but no cigar! You think you are just gonna face The Rated R Superstar and expect for me not to have a plan for you? Do you think I would come out and face you just to have a simple ending? No! Thats not how I work, I will put you away I will send you and Kurt back to that failure of a wrestler that you two oh so simply are. You see against anyone else you look sooo strong and soooo aggersive but I'm not afraid of you... How can I be afraid of someone who really has nothing to his name? There is no way I "The Ultimate Opportunist" can possibly be afraid or shaken by a lap dog of the Olympic piss stain Kurt Angle. Your piss poor technical skills don't intemidate me your missing tooth damn sure doesn't either. You will have no choice but to either retire or spiral down back down become nothing more then a a rabid side show. I strongly urge not to make the mistake and sign that contract to this match . Don't even come to the Impact zone and embarass your team don't embarass your boyfriend Kurt. If you stay here your life is gonna be miserable, your not gonna fit in, you'll go from one of the most... (Edge taps on his head trying to think of a complament for Chris Benoit.) No you already fell from that.
(The Rated R superstar now yet again begins to pace the stage as the Edgeheads out in the rafters continues to listen to his personal synopsis of The Crippler Chris Beniot.)
Edge: Yes I got it! You'll go from one of the most redundant superstars to the most laughed at mmmm kinda like ah yes Santino Marella. Keep what little reputation you do have and stay on stay in the background just go back or stay here and stay out of my way towards Kurt Angle and ending his so called "streak" or deal with a man that has ended more careers than you've had matches! I will not back down from the Rabid Wolverine because to me your just a mad... little mole that I plan to traqualize with a dart known as the Spear!! Ladies and gentlemen... you're looking at the poison of and the future WWE Undisputed World Champion courtesy of the broken bodies careers of The Dynasty! Starting with Benoit tonight. Because baby I golden!!
(Edge laughs as his music blast's again and the pumped Edgeheads chant. Edge slightly turns around and looks back over his shoulder back at the fans and smiles again putting his shades back on and disappears back into the curtain and so starts the first matches of the Impact house show.)
