(The scene opens up with somewhere backstage of the Mid-South Coliseum Arena in Memphis. It's Sunday Night around 8 o'clock, an hour before Sunday Showcase is ready to broadcast worldwide. From the way that the arena is sounding WWE Xplosion is really drawing the fire of the crowd, upcoming stars are hitting the mat hard and it can be heard even backstage. The camera descends showing the top of a what appears to be red hair and a smiling face, it's Maria. In the corner you can see an elbow pad of someone but that person isn't shown clear yet. The Red head bombshell is holding a microphone in hand as she appears to be getting ready to interview whomever it is on the side of her.)
Maria: Ladies and gentlemen my guest today is a man that needs no introduction. He is the 2010 King Of The Ring, The Rated R Superstar Edge!
(The camera pans out to show Edge sporting his Sex and Violence tee shirt with his title over his shoulder and a smug smirk on his face. Maria looks over at Edge with a smile. Edge crosses his arms and get ready for the round of questions that Maria is about to shoot at him.)
Maria: How are you doing today Edge?
Edge: Maria, I feel great. It's not everyday you get to put your hands around the throat of the of a champion and a cry baby.
Maria: Cry Baby?
Edge: Yeah you know Kurt Angle. I get to shut him up yet again for what the umm third time is it? (chuckles) But you know Maria I do believe that once I "spear him" yet again he'll start blabbing again next week. I do have to admit that it's getting annoying though.
Maria: How many matches has it been since you started your rivalry with Dynasty?
(Edge looks confused and starts to count on his fingers, then shrugs his shoulders.)
Edge: Too many Maria way too many. I know once this is over like I said before I have bigger and more golden things to worry about. After tonight I go on to become WWE Champion for the second time. Might I add that I will be the first man to have ever won the WWE Championship twice? Oh how could I have not said anything about it? SummerSlam will be my shinning moment.
Maria: Speaking of the WWE Championship, Kurt Angle has become the new Mr. Money in the Bank do you feel that he will...
Edge: Stop right there Maria. Kurt Angle has the briefcase this is true, however tonight isn't about that. Tonight is about sailing down the River and giving one final look at the future WWE Champion.
Maria: Do you honestly think that this match tonight will be that easy?
(Edge lets one hand off of the King Of The Ring Belt and strokes his beard thinking.)
Edge: You know Maria, I'm not gonna even lie, yeah this is gonna be a brawl. Tonight is going to really be something I tell you. Raven The Intercontiential Champion teaming with The Ol' Olympic Hero Kurt Angle! (grins) Against who?
Maria: Yo...
(Edge quickly interrupts Maria.)
Edge: The Psycho Sid Vicious and The Two time World Champion, The 2010 King Of The Ring, not to mention the Rated R Superstar your's truly, Edge. Do you understand that the very fabric of the WWE universe is ready to burst because of the four top stars will face off in a clash of egos. This match will be hands down the best match if not the most physical match that Sunday Showcase has seen to date.
Maria: So how do you plan on co-existing with Psycho Sid Vicious? Don't you think he will be dangerous not only to your opponents but you as well?
Edge: Maria I have been in contact with Sid many times over the course of the week. Me and Sid have a certain pact, I stay out of his way and he stays out of mine. We're both gonna be in this match to disable any self pride that Dynasty still has. We will put our egos aside and finish the business that no one else could. Sid and I have one common goal and that is to hurt the two men that wanna step in on our territory. Hell I wouldn't mind spearing the always sad and emotionally depressed Raven, you know what I woulod enjoy dominating him and soften him up for Sid to just wreck come next week. I would also expect the same from Sid you know have him come in and boot Angle in the face just like he did last time we tagged together and make him reconsider even showing up to the arena. He knows as well as I do that there is nothing like stomping down on Kurt.
Maria: My next question is about Aj Styles...last week you interefered in his match with the Champion and you only speared him. Why didn't you target Stacy also? Why just AJ?
Edge: You know Maria you should really focus on tonight not last week. But you know what I'll let you and all of these other people with IQ's of 6 know. It's really simple I don't want AJ to forget that he is a marked man. He lucked up once and it won't happen again. I want him to understand that what he's been saying has not fallen on deaf ears. I want him to watch tonight just sit and watch what happens to Kurt his oh so fearless leader and what happens to Raven the IC champion. I want AJ to know that I'm just warming up for his grand finale. As for Stacy...she is on her last leg I can feel it Maria, Stacy can feel it, those attacks have been playing with her head I've done enough damage to the Champion. I want her to walk into Summerslam with whatever she has left so she can take this spear I've been waiting so long to give her.
Maria: So in just a little bit you will go out there and do what you say you do best. Any last words?
Edge: Yeah just one Maria. Kurt we've been doing this for a long time and Raven I hardly know you, but you two stand in my way on the road to my destiny and I promise I won't leave that unchecked. Tonight you two are just warm ups for the biggest moment in WWE History I want the entire locker room to look and take notice to their King and how he's does things. You see thgis Kurt (pointing to the King Of The Ring Gold.) you couldn't win this last month and you won't beat me tonight. That's just the way it is. That's how I roll Raven you got the short end of the stick trust me you really did but hey better luck next time. This is it, oh it's true it's damn true.
(Edge puts his hand on Maria's shoulder.)
Edge: Thank you for giving me this last moment to speak my mind, oh and for the record you could do a little better interviews. I mean this is broadcasted all over the world not really a good way to get yourself known. Ok?
(Edge walks off leaving a upset Maria.)
