(The scene opens up outside The Complex Arena, it's about 5'o clock Thursday afternoon. The air outside is more muggy then hot. The camera crew and production crews are scrambling all over trying to make sure everything is ready for the first live broadcast of the new TNA Impact! The vibe in the arena is very hectic but with a strange sense of excitement. A lot of the Impact stars are already inside the building ready to make a... well Impact. (Pun intended.) Around the corner we see a production crew man walking with the one and only Rated R Superstar. He's dressed in his black leather jacket and his new shirt. (Warning: Advertisment a head) Only avalible a WWE Shopzone.com.)  (The camera zooms in on the two time world champion and the guys conversation.) Guy: Tonight you'll be in a Triple Threat match with Cena and Raven. (Edge looks pleased stroking his beard as he cracks his neck. Edge gives off a cheerful grin to the guy and pats him on his shoulder.) Edge: Well appreciated man. That's a good deal, in my first night on TNA I face Cena and Raven. Not bad of a match set up not at all. Thanks. (The production guy walks away as Edge slowly walks down the corridor to his dressing room. Edge is half way there only to be stopped by Josh Matthews. Edge looks a little taken back because of it seeming like Matthews popped out of nowhere.)  (Edge holds his chest as it would appear he was very deep in thought.) Edge: Good god Josh you scared the crap outta me! Don't do that! Josh: Sorry Edge but I just wanted to ask you a few questions that I know is on the WWE and TNA's mind. (Edge catches himself and lets out a little smirk and pulls his hair back a little.) Edge: Sure shot I've got time to kill until we go live. Josh: Ok off I wanna start by asking about your final match on Raw against The Miz. Miz of course came out victorius but you two put on on hell of a show my question is; How do you feel knowing that your last match on what you would call your show Raw ended in you losing? (Edge stops before he answers and processes his thoughts for a second.) Edge: Honsetly? I feel great! (Matthews looks puzzeled at Edge's comment just now.) Josh: I'm not sure I follow. Can you explain? Edge: Sure little buddy (Edge puts his hand on Josh's shoulder.) You see when I came to the Raw brand I was a young upstart with a moutain of potential and I do mean a moutain as high as mount everest oh yeah. I won every match I was in I formed alliances that could never be controlled. I did a lot but as of late I was getting a little bit drained about a few weeks ago I didn't know why and it hit me. I came to the conclusion that Raw was getting too old for me. I was there I did it all and my loss to the Miz was more like my farewell to them and for me to elevate Miz to where he should be as a face of Monday night Raw. TNA Impact is a fresh start for me. Josh: Well were you taken back at the least when you saw that you were drafted to TNA? (Edge strokes his beard again as he chuckles yet again.) Edge: Actually I was one of the first people to sign to TNA. I went to Stone Cold's office a week before my return and requested that he put his bid in for me to be drafted. I told him I needed to do something new and without hesitation he accpeted. Last week I inked a contract with Impact and then it was history from there. The feel of the Impact zone is refreshing to me right now. I'm very excited. (Josh looks as if he understands Edge now that he explained his situation. Matthews pulls a card out of his pocket and reads it. It seems to be tonights schedule.)  Josh: Next thing I wanted too touch base with is that you being one of the best and the only man on the roster to hold all three major wwe championships: are you worried at all about the superstars that are signed to Impact? Or is this yet another thing that you know full in well that you have control over? Edge: Drawn back yes but worried no not at all. Everyone knows me and knows that I'm never a person to think I don't have something under control. I was the life blood of WWE last year I know what it takes to be the front runner on a show. I mean come on your talking to the longest running World Heavyweight Champion in the WWE's history. I got this thing under control big time. I know that there is some pretty good stars out here like CM Punk, AJ Styles, Kurt Angle, John Cena and Raven. But I need to stress that I'm the top star here. I'll do so at anyones expense. Josh: Speaking of Raven and Cena you face them tonight. You have two men who are making or have already made a name for themselves. Raven being the Intercontential Champion, and Cena is Mr. Money in the Bank. With these two superstars who have had there Wrestlemania moments under there belts and all the momentum how do you think you facing them would be? Do you have a game plan tonight or is this just planning to go out there and dominate the two men. And do you think it's possible for you to recreate the magic you made on Raw?  (Edge takes a huge breathe yet again processing his thoughts and the questions Josh just asked.) Edge: Plans. Tonights the first night of the new TNA Impact. I'm feeling that I need to go out there and do what I do best and that's spear, spear, and spear. Two spears for the price of one. Raven is really nothing to me as he is well... just a wannabe psycho. I mean come on I think he has one color for every braid he has in his hair. The dude looks like a watered down version of Jeff Hardy if that wasn't watered down enough. Piss poor wrestling skills, no intention to even learn how to wrestle at all, and yet he still is. I guess he want's to prove that becausse he's the Intercontential Champion that means he has an ounce of what we actual wrestlers call "talent". That's just something that went out the door a long time ago. That thought checked out years ago, I hear he was almost champion before but couldn't cut it. Look I beat him and his hardcore brother Mick Foley earlier this year and to be honest it wasn't too hard. Him with his cute little quote he got out of a book. "Quote the Raven Nevermore." So cute but ineffective. Quote Edge "Spear!" Now as for Cena.. (Edge's teeth cring as he seems to be a little frustared at the thought of his long time nemesis.)  Edge: "Mr. Money in the Bank" John Cena. My arch rival, the man I put down and kept getting up. The man that never says die! I wasn't suppose to miss Wrestlemania I wanted to be in money in the bank! I wanted to win and grab that briefcase from up high and cash it in. That was suppose to be me again! But yet he comes out and raps a bars then wins and calls himself "Mr. Money in the bank". Well I say I deserve that breifcase I need to be champion again. Two things I need is that briefcase and and to win King of the Ring. Not only for me but to solidfy Impact as the top tier brand. You see I would call Cena out but that doesn't seem all too right as he won the match fair and square. But tonight I get to prove that I would have won that match had I been in it. Tonight for Cena will be some what of a... reality check, it'll bring him down so he can understand that I'm top dog always has been always will be. I'll be around every corner in every hallway waiting. I want him to cash it in or hand it over to someone who is better then he is...Me! If it's just going to go ideal in his hands then it needs to come to my hands. I'll do something amazing with it, something spectaculer something...Rated R! (Edge grins.) Tonight Impact is all about me, forget the Highflyers, Beer Money, Finlay, Kurt Angle, Raven, Cena or anyone else. Tonight I'm the break out star. First I beat Raven and Cena, then next week I head on to gain back my WWE Undisputed Championship. Tonight I make two Impact's with a spear or should I say spears? (Edge grins and looks downward to the shorter then him Josh Matthews.) Edge: My eyes are on three things, TNA, The WWE Undisputed Championship, and John Cena's Money in the Bank briefcase! Impact is now Rated R! (Edge calms down and smiles again.) Thanks for your time pay attention to tonight Josh. (Edge walks off as the camera fades.) |
