(The scene opens up backstage in a studio seat all the way in California, and WWE camera men and ESPN2 camera men are all around. The seats are very familiar as the people are getting ready for another addition of Cold Pizza with Jay Crawford as host again. Crawford is talking to his broadcast advisers getting the last moment details down pat, down the hall is the dressing room of The WWE Champion: Edge. The Champ is sitting in his chair next to Zack and Curt chatting with them about current events.)
Edge: Now last week was good for you guys, and Summer Slam was perfect for you two and me also. However the work isn't done yet, just because I'm champion doesnt mean we need to stop.
Zack: Yeah we're lacking gold.
Curt: We need to get gold that gold around our waists. Can you help us on that TLC match I mean it's your match.
Edge: No! I had to struggle to get to where I am and do you think that I got help? No, I would be able to help you guys but not now, not with all of this Orton crap on my mind, do you understand?
Curt: Yeah.
Zack: Yeah
Edge: I know I'm not the cleanest wrestler in the World but I earned every shot that I had. You two need to do the same. Look in a few days I'll be facing Randy yet again for my WWE Championship so right now this is our focus, I'm gonna make sure that I don't lose and you two need to focus on those Tag Team Championships.
Curt: Angle won't be a problem at all you've beaten him three times there is no way his gonna win.
Zack: Yeah defiantly.
(The stage manager comes from around the corner and signals for Edge.)
Manager: It's time. You got on in one minute Champ.
Edge: Gotcha. Well you two watch and see how a pro does this, maybe when after this Sunday I can get you a spot on a show.
(Edge gets up and props his WWE Franchise Championship over his shoulder and begins to walk out the room. Edge makes his way to the seat and then sits in the chair and once again meets up with Jay Crawford and shakes his hand. The two men make some chit chat before the camera goes on the air. Now the producer signals for the 5 second mark.)
Producer: 5..4..3..2..1
(Just like that Espn Cold Pizza goes on the air.)

Jay: Ladies and gentlemen welcome to Cold Pizza, The early morning sports digest for you sports fanatics. Today we have a special guest one of my favorites by the way. He was on the show once before, last time he was here he was a King Of The Ring top contender but oh boy things have gotten so much better for him. Please welcome the reigning WWE Franchise Undisputed Champion, Edge! Edge welcome back to Cold Pizza.
Edge: Thanks man, thanks for having me.
Jay: Now Edge what's it like to basically be King of the World? I mean you've done so much in your profession.
Edge: It's kinda funny because you look back at being a child and you know you grew up watching other people do this, I would never imagine that I would be doing this at all. I never in a million years would have thought that I would become WWE Champion or King Of The Ring.
Jay: Speaking of King Of The Ring, congratulations on your victory and let me say after our interview a few months ago I've been following your career and I have to say I like your style, it adds more to entertainment if there is good guys and bad guys and you my friend are defiantly are a bad guy. I like how you think two steps ahead of many wrestlers and stay there. The King Of The Ring pay per view was tops in my opinion. You formed a alliance with The Miz and you outsmarted the Olympic Hero Kurt Angle, tell me how that felt.
Edge: I like to pride myself on my strategic ways of thinking, since I came back last year and instantly had a new way of thinking. Some people live in the moment but I was focusing on the future, every step I made had a effect on everything what was gonna happen in the future. I know that I'm not a fan favorite but if that's the way I have to be in the eyes of the crowd the I'll take that roll. I wear the bad guy belt very well.
Jay: Indeed you do, but lets talk about your rival Randy Orton. We both know Orton is also a former WWE Champion like yourself and you guys even formed a huge team named Rated RKO and practically owned Monday Nights. Can you tell me and all of these people what exactly how this friendship turned sour?
Edge: Like you said, Orton and I at one point were the absolute best team in the WWE Franchise. You wanna talk about undefeated, you wanna talk about pure talent, then all you had to do was look at us. However me and Randy had the same goal in mind and that was to be WWE Franchise Undisputed Champion so we entered the Elimination Chamber at Extreme Rules and they activated, excuse me I should say reactivated the World Heavyweight Championship. Both of us knew we couldn't win the thing so Flair won, Orton then took it, then I took it. At that point right there Rated RKO was destroyed and I mean big time
Jay: Seeing as World Wrestling Entertainment Franchise is a huge power house it has seen many wrestlers come and go, my question is who do you think had the biggest impact on WWE Franchise and why?
(Edge reclines in the chair for a little bit building in his head up to answer the question Jay just gave him.)
Edge: Me. I'll explain why Jay. For the last two to three years there has only been one constant thing in World Wrestling Entertainment...me being on top. I have been a part of all of the major factions and/or taken them out, I've retired most of the top wrestlers and/or put them one the injured list like Randy Orton. I believe I took Randy out at Summer Slam last year... yeah, yeah, that's right I did. I also a month earlier took the World Heavyweight Championship from him. I have won this Championship more times then anyone else in the WWE two times over, I've completely lapped all of the other superstars when it comes to being champion. Two time triple crown champion, Jay do you know what that means.
Jay: No not really.
Edge: Jay and to all the fans out there, a "Triple Crowned Champion" is a champion who has one all three major championships in their particular organization and I've done that twice.
Jay: So that means you've won The WWE title twice, the secondary title what do guys call that?
Edge: Intercontinental championship.
Jay: Ahh yes. That and the Tag titles twice if I'm correct?
Edge: I've done it all Jay, look at every marquee and every promotional poster since Wrestlemania of 2009 and you'll see me featured on every single one of them. It's no getting past it or ignoring it I'm the best and that's from the mouth of Vince McMahon himself.
Jay: Wow what a resume Edge. I got a couple more of questions before I let you go because I know you of all people need to rest up for your big day.
Edge: Ok shoot.
Jay: Two weeks ago at Showdown you and Sid Vicious had a match which ended with you winning by dq via RKO to you. Then the following week Orton makes his redebut and gives you a run for your money. Not only that but fresh off the shelf he was awarded a WWE Championship match. Does that have any effect on you?
Edge: Not at all. Look I don't know why everyone keeps asking me am I alright in my head an ready for my match at Night of Champions. I don't care if it was him or Kurt, I'm ready.
Jay: Do you believe that there is a possible chance that Randy could do to you what you did you him a year ago at Super Sunday and King of The Ring?
Edge: I'm ready, Orton won't put me out like I did him and you know why? It's because Orton won't get in here(Edge points to his head.) You see most wrestlers let Randy get all in here and then that messes them up now however I'm not one of those Wrestlers no. I'm the man who played head games with him and put him out. Yeah we have a tie between us two for two but it will be broken by me. I guarantee that it will be me showing up to Sunday Showdown with all of these people looking at me as still the WWE Champion as it should be. I can't lose I know too much about Orton, I know what makes him tick and I know all the secrets of The "Viper", I am the real legend killer. I'm the cornerstone of this business and I promise that you all will see a show but it will be me coming out on top as I always do with a Spear not a Rko.
Jay: Alright Edge good luck with your match and I'll be cheering for you as always. Thanks for coming.
Edge: No problem you know I enjoy coming here. I'll be sure to keep this trend going and bring my WWE Championship with me next time I'm here.
(Both men shake hands and the show cuts to commercial.)
